Fiberglass Batt Insulation, Installed Right
Precision-cut batts. Every gap sealed. Not stuffed in and forgotten.

Why fiberglass batts work
Fiberglass batt insulation is the workhorse of attic restoration. When it is installed correctly, cut to fit, and laid without gaps or compression, it delivers reliable comfort for decades.
Consistent R-value across the entire attic
Every batt delivers the same thermal resistance. R-30 means R-30 everywhere, not just in the thick spots.
Precision fit between joists
We cut each batt to friction-fit your joist bays. No gaps along the edges. No compression against wires or pipes.
Easy to inspect years later
You or any inspector can look at batt insulation and immediately see if something shifted, got wet, or needs replacing.
No settling over time
Blown-in insulation can settle 10-20% within a few years. Batts stay where we put them.

How we install batt insulation
We pull out the old stuff first.
If your existing insulation is contaminated, compressed, or water-damaged, it comes out. We don't install on top of a bad base.
We seal every air leak in the attic floor.
Pipe penetrations, electrical boxes, top plates, can lights. Air sealing is where most of your comfort actually comes from.
We install ventilation baffles at the eaves.
Baffles keep soffit vents open so your attic breathes properly. Without them, insulation blocks airflow and traps moisture.
We cut and fit every batt by hand.
Each piece is trimmed to the joist bay, laid flat, not stuffed or compressed. Full contact with the attic floor, no gaps between sections.
Full cost, upfront. Every time.
We write the scope before we quote the price. You see exactly what work is included, what materials we are using, and what it costs. No change orders.
Batts vs. blown-in: which one fits your attic?
We recommend based on what your attic needs, not what is fastest to install.
Sometimes blown-in is the better call.
Attics with irregular joist spacing, lots of obstructions, or low-clearance areas sometimes need blown-in insulation to get full coverage. We inspect first and recommend what actually works for your space. Read our blown-in insulation page
